• Two stairwells will be used to accommodate the Soar to the Top (one time up) and the Vert Mile (up to 8 times up) 

• Everyone will start in the Green Stairwell, those in the Vert Mile will then continue their remaining climbs in the Red Stairwell.

• You will be assigned a starting climb window (time). Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to your starting climb window. Teams will be grouped together.

• Starts are done in a time-trial style with one climber going every 20 to 30 seconds.

• All climbers in both events take the elevator back down after their single or multiple ascents.

Vert Mile 

• For those in the Vert Mile, you will have 2 1/2 hours to climb up to a full eight (8) times representing a full verticle mile.

• We will keep track of when your time expires. If you are climbing when your time expires, that climb will count. 

• Of course, you are not required to complete all eight (8) climbs. You can tap out at any time.

• Only your completed climb times will be counted in the official results.  Times will be added together and results will be sorted by the number of completed climbs and then by the fastest time.
